I looked now some time around, but unfortunately I wasn't able to figure out what limitations regarding etherchannels I have with a Cisco switch stack.
For one of our projects I plan to build the platform based on microblades. In sum I plan to stack 4 switches (48 ports) for the internal switching layer and will need to configure around 70 etherchannel groups. I found the following values on the Cisco homepage, but I am not sure if those values apply per switch or stack
WS-C2960X-48TD-L LAN Base 24 Etherchannel groups
WS-C2960XR-48TD-I IP Lite 48 Etherchannel groups
Does somebody know how many Etherchannel groups I can configure per stack. Most of micro blade will have 2 or 4 network cables which I want to split over the switches for redundancy purposes.
I am also open to discuss, if somebody has a better idea.
