etherchannel issue between sites when one link drops

Hi

We have an issue in what we have 2 datacentres connected by a layer 2 wan link, LES circuit. if we disconnect one of the links, the whole link drops between the sites, any ideas why this would be, would UDLD solve this ?

Can you post a configuration of the ports on both sides?

Is the remote network a stub? that is to say is there only one way in or out of it? It it isn't there might be a spanning hit taking place.

How long does the cct go down for?
