Etherchannel showing down (SD) and ports are in "I" stand alone

Its because it doesn't see LACP  messages on the other side or its connected to two different devices. Or to the same devices but with a LACP link and a different LACP link or a not LACP link

I've had that problem so many times.

Thanks for the reply...

So the problem might be on NETAPP server right ??? i mean netapp server need to configure with same LACP configs that i have used on 6500 right ???

Exactly, the 6500 config is fine, probably the NETAPP is not active or passive and it's just ON that won't work

show lacp 248 neighbor will show if you have a neighbor and if the LACP id is the same on both ports

Core1#sh lacp 2 neighbor

Flags:  S - Device is requesting Slow LACPDUs

F - Device is requesting Fast LACPDUs

A - Device is in Active mode       P - Device is in Passive mode

Hi,

Hi,

i have too this problem with port-channel

I am using 2 port channel 14&123

14 is connected to 2 ports(4/1 and 4/3)

123 is connected to 4 ports(2/32-33,2/35,2/38)

But here is the problem is in port-channel 14 i have facing problem with one port is bonding and second port is going to independent, Why this happened, I want port-channel 14 same like port channel 123, Both ports have to come in banding not independent

Gi4/1     SA      bnd1

Gi4/3     SP      indep

14 Po14(SU)       LACP      Gi4/1(P)       Gi4/3(I)
123 Po123(SU)   LACP      Gi2/32(P)     Gi2/33(P)    Gi2/35(P)    Gi2/38(P)
