Hi all,
Does anyone know how to exclude a DHCP address for a DHCP pool in a specific VRF ?
See the following config:
ip dhcp excluded-address 172.16.0.1
ip dhcp excluded-address 172.16.0.2
ip dhcp excluded-address 172.16.0.3
!
ip dhcp pool GUEST
vrf GUEST
network 172.16.0.0 255.255.248.0
default-router 172.16.7.254
dns-server 195.238.2.22 195.238.2.21 192.168.1.1
lease 0 8
!
This doesn't work. I get assigned 172.16.0.1, even though it is excluded.
Platform: C3750, IOS version 12.2(46)SE

Geert,
If I remember correctly DHCP excluded addresses are not supported with VRF. Please see the following link under restrictions. I know this is documentation is for a router, but I assume that it applies to the switching platforms as well.
