failed POST in loopback test

Hi,

i've a problem on a port of a switch 3550.

i attach the output of the telnet session:

SW3550A(config)#int fast 0/35

SW3550A(config-if)#no shut

Fa0/35 can't be brought up because it failed POST in loopback test

SW3550A#show post

i don't find documentation about this problem.

POST failures are bad news. This is almost certainly a hardware problem. Retry the boot without anything connected to the port. If the problem remains (as I assume that will be the case) this means that you have a faulty interface.
