FAST ETHERNET NEGOTIATION ISSUE

Hi Guys,

One of our WAAS device is directly connected to service provider router directly(there is medium in middile), whenever we see the interface status at provider end device we found the duplex setting as half duplex/100 Mbps but though there is no drops  between the devices . But we are facing general slowness in our network .While disable the WAAS its getting solve, Kindly suggest why the duplex is showing mismatch on two sides. Also is this affecting our performance issue ? is there any best practice ?

If you have your side set to auto and the provider side is hard coded to 100/full, you will negotiate at 100/half. You'd need to hard code your side to 100/full to see full duplex.

Small querry , How to force hardcore fastettheret from normal interface ? also what is the difference from normal interface ?
