A high number of FCS and Alignment errors are reported on one switchport. The possible causes are:
A defective port
Bad cabling
duplex mismatch
wrong speed settings
subnet mismatch
Over subscription of the link

Its usually speed/duplex mismatches check the settings for the switchport and whatever is attached on the far end , they must match .
