Hi, very simple question:
I have 5 3750G stacked together. When I issue "show process cpu sorted" cli cmd, how the IOS calculates the CPU util for these 5 CPUs, average?
Thanks.

Gy,
It's not average. What you got from that command is the CPU utilization of the master switch. I used to think about this before. Many control-plane features are done on the master switch. Data plane/ forwarding plane features are done on the local switches. I would be great if they can share CPU resources between them. (grin)

Hi Toshi,
Thank you so much. It is true. This only shows the master cpu. For other CPU util, we have to use:
>remote command X show process cpu
to get them.
Nice weekend.
