Five-Member 2960X Stack with 0.5-Meter Cables

Hi can anyone help me with the proper way to connect a 3 and 5 member of 2960X stack, cause i just read the installation guide but only come the way to four member and i cant fine the logic to connnect 3 and 5 members.

Deployment Topologies

You would get the 3 stack connection topology.

By connecting in full rebundancy, you would get 40 Gbps bandwidth per member in 2960-X stack.

Hi Mate, thanks for me help me, im a little confuse withe the logic on the pattern that u send to me i im going to try to explain hope that im ok:

SW 1 port 1 - SW 2 port 1

SW 1 port 2 - SW 3 port 1

SW 2 port 1 - SW 1 port 1

SW 2 port 2 - SW 4 port 1

SW 3 port 1 - SW 1 port 2

SW 3 port 2 - SW 5 port 1

SW 4 port 1 - SW 2 port 2

SW 4 port 2 - SW 5 port 2

SW 5 port 1 - SW 3 port 2

SW 5 port 2 - SW 4 port 2

Hi all,

Ok so why not always go ...

     Switch 1 port 2 to Switch 2 port 1

     Switch 2 port 2 to Switch 3 port 1

                    ..

                    ..

     Last switch port 1 to Switch 1 port 1

It looks like depending on number of switches in stack there is a different pattern? Just askign as I am looking to going to a 2960X stack from a Distribution / Access configuration.
