Anyone any ideas on how to force a IOS switch (cat 3750) to only use SSH ver 2 ?

Thanks

Re: Force a Cisco Switch to use SSH 2

Some IOS supports version 2. Feature Navigator should help.

1721#config t

Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.

1721(config)#ip ssh version ?

<1-2> Protocol version

1721(config)#end

1721#sh ip ssh

SSH Enabled - version 2.0

Authentication timeout: 120 secs; Authentication retries: 3

Re: Force a Cisco Switch to use SSH 2

Mike,

3750's does support SSHv2. If I remember correctly, 12.1(19)EA1 and higher should support SSHv2.

What code are you currently running on the 3750. Also, make sure that you have the right feature set.

I hope it helps.

Arul
