Hi All

Please can I configure a Layer 2 or Layer 3 etherchannel on 2 links attached to 2 different switches such as

SwitchA --link1 -- SwitchB

and

SwitchC --link2 -- SwitchD

or do they 2 links have to be on the same switch?

Hi,

I guess this is not possible as Fast EtherChannel and Gigabit EtherChannel port bundles allow you to group multiple Fast or Gigabit Ethernet ports into a single logical transmission path between the switch and a router, host, or another switch.
