Hi,

Just two short questions on GLBP and dynamic routing. Does GLBP protocol which are configured on both router must use together with any dynamic routing in a network? Can static routing be used?

Regards,

Daniel Alex

GLBP provides redundancy for devices on the LAN as those devices are configured to use the Virtual IP from both routers to forward packets instead of their physical IPs.

The decision to use dynamic over static has no bearing on GLBP directly. Both routers need to have routing information (static or dynamic) in order to forward packets, it's your decision if dynamic or static makes more sense in your environment.
