hello all,

I have successfully configured GLBP on my network but i have some doubts. how can i verify that traffic is actually being balanced on both outbound links? another thing is...i have one 60meg link and one 15meg link, how can i make more traffic go out the link with 60meg?

Hi,

If you want traffic to go out the 60mb link, then you raise the priority of AVG on the router that connects to your 60mb link.

Here is good doc to refer to on how to do it:

Hi Reza,

thanks for the link. it is very helpful. I think there is a twist to my config. I have BGP running on both routers as well and i have set some local pref on the routers, meaning, even if i am GLBP'ing i am not actually using one link right? isn't that what the local pref config does? check out below;

#sh glbp
