0:00.577246: Please set Netmask variable

0:00.577602: Please set Broadcast variable

0:00.577967: No gateway has been specified

0:00.578459: Network is not configured

Hmmm ok now what?!?!? I have maintenance so no problems getting the image for it if need be.

Thanks for any tips.

The system will autoboot in 5 seconds.

Type control-C to prevent autobooting.

The system will now begin autobooting.

Re: goofed up a 2948g

Hi ,

try out the following commands.

Console> sho boot

BOOT variable =

Configuration register is 0x0

ignore-config disabled

console baud 9600

boot the ROM monitor

> - dir bootflash

Console> dir bootflash

-#- -length- -----date/time------ name

1 2842972 Jan 01 2000 000241 cat4000.4-5-9.bin

and then ""set boot config-register boot bootflashcat4000.4-5-9.bin""

Re: goofed up a 2948g

The first thing to try is just issue the command "boot bootflash:" . If there is an image in bootflash it should load it . Not sure if you can do a "dir bootflash: at the rommon prompt but you might be able to to see if the image is in bootflash and it just did not boot due to a incorrect boot statement.
