All,

I hope you are well and can assist with the following

WE plan to carry out DR testing and a UPS upgrade unfortunatley the server room will have no power for a couple of minutes.

Is there a gracefull way to shut down the Nexus 7009  (We have an admin VDC / two additional VDCs) or do we just switch of the power supplies on the Nexus 7009 ?

Before turning off the power

Before turning off the power to the chassis, issue a "reload" command.  The very minute you loose IP or console response, turn off the unit.
