Hi all,

I just wanted to know if there is anything I am missing on doing a graceful shutdown and restart on a 3750. This is what I am doing on a 3750:

1) Cop r s - saving config.

2) Pull the plug

3) Plug it back in.

Anything I am missing?

On a standalone switch, no not really.

wouldnt that be a hard reset? not sure they suport a true graceful reset as with multiple sup engines, but do a reload and would not have to unplug the device. you can reload in x time or at x time as well if you wish. this can be canceled as well.

Thanks guys for the replies.

The reason for the hard reset is that I want to plug the switch into a UPS we just bought.
