Having Trouble with VPN Client v. 4.0.4 and Pix

In my vpn client software, I have the host as x.x.x.x, lets assume that all other configurations are correct, should it connect based on this information? And how about the dns, how would it keep the connection close.

ip address outside x.x.x.x 255.255.255.0

ip address inside x.x.x.x 255.255.255.0

ip address remotes x.x.x.x 255.255.255.0

vpngroup fclvpn address-pool bigpool

vpngroup fclvpn dns-server x.x.x.x

vpngroup fclvpn idle-time 1800

vpngroup fclvpn password ********

Re: Having Trouble with VPN Client v. 4.0.4 and Pix

If I understand correctly, you're not able to open PDM when using the VPN client, right? What could be missing is the http statement that gives acces to it, please try the following: http inside. where the local ip and mask would be the one from your VPN pool. You can telnet to the PIX outside interface (200.68.45.130) using VPN client and check the configuration. Provide the enable password.
