Can the 2950 be accessed by a Web Based GUI app? I have a 2950 on our network and I need to get into it and see how it is configured. Or, is the only way to access it is by CLI?

The only way you would want to see how it is configured would be through CLI.

Ok, thanks.

If you would like help understanding the config you could post it on here and I'm sure someone would be happy to help.

There is a web GUI on these switches, but it isn't always installed or enabled. If you're not getting a response via HTTP or HTTPS, it's a fair bet that it isn't turned on. You can enable access to it by adding "ip http server" to the switch configuration from the CLI, but if the web-based device manager isn't installed, you're only going to get a rudimentary interface to work with.

If you really need web-based access on this switch, upgrade to the latest software that includes the web-based device manager. Select your switch from the following link and proceed from there:

Alternately, you can download the Cisco Network Assistant from the same section of the site and have a desktop-based GUI to do your configuration with.
