Help me to determine actual RAM size in C3750X

Hi,

In my Catalyst 3750X switch show version command display 256MB of RAM. But Cisco network Assistant only dipaly 178MB of RAM.

Also show processes memory shows another result. Can anyone help me?.

The actual RAM size for this product is 256MB.

Hi Sreejith,

If you need to make precise calculations you need to sum up the "size" values seen in the output of "show region". This total value should more or less match the value that you seen in the output "show version".

The output of "show proc memory sorted" does not involve memory consumed by process which assist IOS image compression/decompression activity and other internal process which are helpful during router/switch bootup.
