High CPU catalys 6500

Hi people I have a questions about catalys 6500

In the picture, what is the process with most consumed?

total is 77%, but all process are 0.xx and 1.xx.  I don´t understand that, because should be higher or not?

Thank very much

Hi,CPU is high due to

CPU is high due to interrupts, means traffic is hitting the CPU, which is not normal. because catalyst switches are capable enough to forward traffic in h/w only. It is 6k so its easy to find the source of traffic/kind of traffic hitting CPU. We can use NetDr tool to troubleshoot this. NetDr tool is IOS inbuilt tool to captures traffic before it hits CPU.

6500-2#debug netdr cap

wait for couple of seconds.

6500-2#sh netdr cap

It will give you a long output. you check that and if majority of traffic is coming from a single source then you might need to track it and shut down that machine/user.

You can show the output here in case you need.

Thank for your answer

Thank for your answer  Ansverma
I could to identify traffic with most consumed. It's a flow between two servers, the data are more than 1Gbps, but the interface is only Gi,

the problem is only in the afternoon, 1 hour approx

in the picture you can to see the diagram with scenery. also it's necesary to mention  that servers are in the same vlan, but in diferent subnet, because they are secundary IP.

if I configure an etherchannel to increase the speed between  both CORE, Could lower the high CPU?
Thank very much
