Hi

I have a network using 3 * 2950 switches. I am getting very high no buffer and packets ignored counters on one of the interfaces on the switch. THis interface is connected to my backup server - i only see these errors when the backup run. Any idea - i think i may need to look at buying newer switches - but any ideas would be helpful

Broadcast storms and bursts of noise can cause the ignored and no buffer counters to increase on an interface.

I have allready gone through that doc - the only time i see this problem.. is when our backups are running.. it is fine other wise. THere are less users on the network when the backup is running.. so a bit stumped.
