How do I mirror a port?

I would like to mirror one of our interfaces on a 4503, how do we go about this, how much load will this put on the switch? Cheers

What you are looking to do is called "SPAN" in Cisco terminology. Please see this URL:

Re: How do I mirror a port?

It puts little load on the switch , but if you span say a whole vlan then there is a good possibilty of oversubscribing a port , just span the ports you need if possible instead of a whole vlan .
