How do you stop Email notifications?

How do you stop the email notifications?

I post one question and now I receive dozens of email notifications from the

[LAN, Switching and Routing] Forum.

None of them have anything to do with the question I asked.

I have tried going to my 'profile page', selecting 'Edit Preferences', opening the 'Email Notification Preferences' and setting ALL my preferences to NO but the emails still come.

How do you stop the email notification?

On a side note,

How does one Delete/Cancle/Close ones account?
