How SSO+HSRP works ? - without 'standby track' and 'standby sso'
For SSO to work on the sup modules, you don't need track anything. Both sups (primary and stand-by) logically become one sup. Whatever config you apply to the primary, it will sync it to the stand-by. This way, stand-by has all the info the primary has. When primary fails, the stand-by will take over.

Yes, you are right. However, I am asking on the diagram how the actvie HSRP device monitors its down link and up link down, and the standby HSRP takes over when either link goes down? I think even though the standby sup becomes active sup, traffic still goes through the current active HSRP device via the current standby HSRP device as long as there is no switchover between them.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
