How to advertise routes using EIGRP on Cisco Nexus 5596

I have two Nexus 5596 connected to my core switches (Cisco 4500). EIGRP is running on both, and I'd like to advertise new L3 networks from the Nexus side to my core, but not sure how to do this.

Here are some of the config's:

router eigrp RCU-EIGRP-AS77
  router-id x.x.x.x
  address-family ipv4 unicast
    autonomous-system 77

The only VRF configured is the 'management' one...  "vrf context management"

Tried adding (in turn) the following commands to one of the new L3 vlan's, neither of which advertised the routes:

interface Vlan301
  description BDMZ-PRD-Mgmt
  ip address y.y.y.y/25
  ip passive-interface eigrp RCU-EIGRP-AS77  |  ip router eigrp RCU-EIGRP-AS77
  hsrp version 2
  hsrp 301
    ip y.y.y.y

There is no need to create a

There is no need to create a new VRF

You just need to add EIGRP to vlan 301

interface vlan 301

ipv4 router eigrp RCU-EIGRP-AS77

This should advertise IP for vlan 301 to EIGRP.
