How to check amount of memory sup and msfc have in 6509

Hi,

How we can check amount of memory in 6509 switch with dual supe and msfc on modules  5 and  6 each ?

MAhesh, that is correct   1GB total ram

When seen memory output  such as  for example  your device , and also output examples in link provided by Francisco

simply add  these two figures 983008K/65536K     e.g  983008K + 65536   and devide by 1024 ,  it should give you  very close to exact memory amount .

983008K + 65536 / 1024 =   1024 Megabytes  which  actually is 1 GB

Here is sh ver

cisco WS-C6509-E (R7000) processor (revision 1.4) with 983008K/65536K bytes of memory.

Bridging software.

212 Gigabit Ethernet/IEEE 802.3 interfaces
1917K bytes of non-volatile configuration memory.
8192K bytes of packet buffer memory.

65536K bytes of Flash internal SIMM (Sector size 512K).
Configuration register is 0x2102

Now which one is supe memory and which one is flash?

Also when we have two supes and msfc then both have same memory?
