How to configure GLBP on cisco 3750 stack switch ?

Dear All,

            I have WS-C3750-48PS-S, i wanted to implement GLBP on this switch, Is it possible to configure GLBP on this switch?

IOS :                    c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-55.SE4.bin

Part number:     WS-C3750-48PS-S

while booting....

Waiting for Stack Master Election...

Election Complete

Switch 1 booting as Master

Waiting for Port download...Complete

SW_3750#switch 1 stack port 1 di

Dec  1 12:30:08.942: % Disabling stack port not allowed with current stack configuration.

SW_3750#switch 1 stack port 2 di    

Dec  1 12:30:14.889: % Disabling stack port not allowed with current stack configuration.

SW_3750(config)#int vlan 2

SW_3750(config-if)#glbp 1 ip 172.16.0.10

%GLBP is not supported by the switch stack

Can someone help me to sort out this issue ?

GLBP not supported currently on 3750.

             I have gone this link before i posted my query.I was curious to know why the option is available on cicso 3750 switches? It should not be included and why it gives error related to stack ?

Hi Ahmed,

Sorry but its not supported on switch stack. Its not on the priority list as well.

The only option would be to run the individual switches and run the GLBP for the FHRP.

Can you please let me know how to disable physical stack port?

I was trying to apply the command but it throws error which is mentioned above.
