How to effectively limit speed on C3750G-12S ?

Dear friend

i just ordered Cisco C3750G-12S and apply speed limit on port but can not limit. as traffic ramp up over than what we limited.

what best method or command to limit speed on this model?

You can "shape" an egress port.

You can shape an egress queue.
