Hello

I had a port get disabled because of a feedback loop. Plugged it back Iin and cannot re-enabled via CNA

Is there a command to re-enable the port

The document i found suggest using the shut down then no shut down command

Is that safe ? will it kick all ports ?

Cisco Catalyst 3750

Thanks

Hi

Yes, Just do a sh and no sh on that port.  That should enable the port again.

Hi,

We can use 'shut' , 'no shut' and we can configure the switch to recover automatically.

Commands are as follows:

errdisable detect cause command 2-140

errdisable detect cause small-frame comand 2-143

errdisable recovery cause small-frame 2-145

errdisable recovery command 2-146

error conditions, displaying 2-469

more details of the commands link:

Hope this helps!
