How to get Console/Telet Access Log and Syslog Server

                   Hello

I would like to get access log for console and telnet.

As you know if access-list is related to VTY line then it can get the follow logggin message.

- Telnet Access Log.

*Mar  1 00:02:55.271: %SEC-6-IPACCESSLOGS: list 1 permitted 10.0.100.254 1 packet

------------------------------------

logging 10.0.100.254

!

access-list 1 permit any log

!

line vty 0 4

access-class 1 in

------------------------------------

However It can generate only 1 time but when it access to this device for 2 times.

Then it can not generate such access log, are there any timeout or any limitation?

- Console Access log.

When I access to the console port, then it can not genearte any access log message.

Basically is that possible to generate like Telnet access log?

Console#telnet 1.1.1.1 2001
Trying 1.1.1.1, 2001 ... Open

hi,

you can configure login on-failure log and login on-sucess log.

use show login [failure] to display login attempts.
