I need to now how long gigabyte port has been up (connected) in a Cisco 3750 switch.

What command permits me to know this?.

Thanks.

Re: How to see gigabyte port information

Issue the command show ip interface brief to view whether the switch has Gigabit port and then Issue the command show interface gigabit ethernet < port number>.

This command gives all information like MTU, MAC address and speed.

You are not answering me.

These commands don't permit me how long gigabyte port has been up.

Re: How to see gigabyte port information

I'm afraid the only way I know to do it is to have it syslog link-event traps. At least that way you get a written record as well.

Yes but I haven't a syslog infraestructure.

Tha most seemed that I discovered that I will need is with sh log command that It shows that time when interface changed state to down and goes up again.
