Hi,
what does it happen if HSRP is activated and host continues to use one of the routers real IP address (not the virtual one) as default gateway?

The host will still be able to communicate with other subnets/vlans and it will function correctly. But if the physical interface that the host is using goes down then the host will lose connectivity to the rest of the network.

Simply corresponding host is not using HSRP feature, and have a single gateway only.
