I cannot ping from CME router to the PC

I am using a 2620XM router as the CME/TFTP. From the PC I can ping the dhcp, switch virtual interfaces and the CME router, but I only cannot ping from CME router to the PC. In the PC, firewalls has been disabled. No ACLs are used in the CME.

I can ping from the dhcp router or from any other router in the network to the PC but only issue is with the CME but even though I can ping from PC to CME. Network card, cables all are working fine.

Because of this issue I was not able to register the IP Communicator, but all the other IP Phones are registered with CME and working fine.

Is anyone can figure this out and help me .

Infiyaaz.

Re: I cannot ping from CME router to the PC

Are CME and PCs in the same subnet?
Are there VLAN?
How many IP Address are configured on CME?
Have you configure bind interface?

examples:

voice service voip
no supplementary-service sip moved-temporarily
no supplementary-service sip refer
fax protocol pass-through g711alaw
h323
modem passthrough nse codec g711alaw
sip
  bind control source-interface FastEthernet0/0.50
  bind media source-interface FastEthernet0/0.50

....

telephony-service
load 7960-7940 P00308000400
load 7914 S00104000100
load ATA ATA030100SCCP040211A.zup
max-ephones 30
max-dn 30
ip source-address 192.168.1.1 port 2000

Post your CME config and a simple network scheme.

Best regards.
