Good Afternoon,
I have an IE3000-8tc-e (layer 3 capabilities), with uplink port issues. The connection actually works, but it won't let me set it to "duplex full" and "speed 100." The other end is set to full duplex, speed 100.
Here's the config for the port:
interface GigabitEthernet1/2
description LAN-UPLINK to #### int Fa0/24
no switchport
ip address 10.x.x.x 255.255.255.xxx
ip access-group outbound in
ip helper-address 10.x.x.x
ip pim sparse-dense-mode
end
the IOS is: ies-ipservices-mz.122-55.SE5
I keep getting the commands not recognized error.
Would I have to shut the port down before issuing the commands, then enable the port after getting them in there?
Thank you in Advance.

Hey,
As this switch supports both copper and SFP fiber ports, so if you are using SFP, it will allow you to change speed and duplex depending upon SFP used, check the link:

HTH.
Regards,
RS.

Thank you for the prompt reply RS.
I need to use the copper port for the uplink.

Having the same on our IE3000's. We have recently upgraded the IOS to the latest ies..... version and it appears to have broken the GIG ports.
We have a couple of devices plugged into the uplinks (which do not support GIG and only support 10/100 half and full duplex and we need to set them for 10/FULL and cannot get the switch to take those commands.
Is there a current BUG ID or a workaround known ?
Thanks
