If Lan cable to switch from pc to switch is losely plugge din

hi all,

My question is if lan cable from pc to switch is losely plugged in will it show

any errors or packet loss when we ping to server IP from switch?????????

Hi Mahesh,

It is very difficult to tell.

In some specific circumstances when you have a so called intermittent connection, it may happen that for some time the plug pins are connected, then a truck travels along the building causing some trembling and the connection may get lost.

If your cable is loosely connected, then you should plug it in a tightened way so the above cannot happen.
