Non-GigabitEthernet 3560/3750

Non-GigabitEthernet 3560/3750  does not support TDR.

If you have a switch with a GigabitEthernet (copper) then move the connection to that switch for you to do TDR check.

Hi,inline power error

Hi,

inline power error messages
on a Catalyst 3560. This could be software failure or a potential
hardware failure. to verify , can you  send below outputs:

"show power inline"
 "show version"

I have a 3560 G- Series Cat-6

I have a 3560 G- Series Cat-6  24 port switch witch is rack mounted connected to servers and ASA Firewall.  3560 G- Series maintained all 'green' leds showing connectivity, however, only local connection to the servers NOT the ASA outward bound.  Your answer with POE check "show power inline" seems to be the answer.  Why?  Because, bouncing the switch and the ASA returned the appliances to their original working operational state.  Not only that , the whole data center was being hit by several power hits. At least 9 power hits in the data center withing 8 hour period.

-- i have no access to the administration of the switch or ASA, of which I stated that it was an power error that caused the "break" in the network connection. --Brice
