input discard error on n7k interface

Hi,

 

Server is connected to  two nexus 7k using VPC.I am seeing input discard error on the interface

 

Can any body advise why  input discard error is increasing

 

Nexus 1

Hi,

Could you please go through the below link and  check if this helps.

If no then capture the outputs suggested in the link and share the same.

There is a known issue that allowed vlan miss match causes "input discards" on nexus side.

Incoming traffic that has dot1q tag which is not allowed at nexus side is accounted in "input discard".
