Input drops and flushes

We are having a few issues with some of our atm links showing input errors & CRC on one our both of our lightstream 1010's.

Here is an example

ATM3/0/3 is up, line protocol is up

Hardware is oc3suni

MTU 4470 bytes, sub MTU 4470, BW 155520 Kbit, DLY 0 usec, rely 255/255, load 1

/255

Encapsulation ATM, loopback not set, keepalive not supported

Last input 00:00:00, output 00:00:00, output hang never

Last clearing of "show interface" counters 1w3d

Queueing strategy: fifo

Output queue 0/40, 0 drops; input queue 0/75, 0 drops

5 minute input rate 60000 bits/sec, 147 packets/sec

5 minute output rate 1025000 bits/sec, 2458 packets/sec

125993180 packets input, 2382671244 bytes, 0 no buffer

Received 0 broadcasts, 0 runts, 0 giants, 0 throttles

1788 input errors, 1954 CRC, 0 frame, 0 overrun, 0 ignored, 0 abort

247212253 packets output, 217347521 bytes, 0 underruns

0 output errors, 0 collisions, 0 interface resets

0 output buffer failures, 0 output buffers swapped out

These errors are not showing on the ATM interface of the 7200's on the other end...

Also noticed our GBit interface on our core router had values in the input queue incrementing at a quick rate

GigabitEthernet0/0 is up, line protocol is up

Hardware is i82543 (Livengood), address is 00d0.ffe5.4008 (bia 00d0.ffe5.4008)

Internet address is 10.200.2.254/24

MTU 1500 bytes, BW 10000000 Kbit, DLY 10 usec,

reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255

Encapsulation ARPA, loopback not set

Keepalive set (10 sec)

Full-duplex mode, link type is autonegotiation, media type is SX

output flow-control is off, input flow-control is off

ARP type: ARPA, ARP Timeout 04:00:00

Last input 00:00:00, output 00:00:00, output hang never

Last clearing of "show interface" counters 01:56:21

Input queue: 1/75/118/6809 (size/max/drops/flushes); Total output drops: 0

Queueing strategy: fifo

Output queue: 0/40 (size/max)

5 minute input rate 10946000 bits/sec, 2074 packets/sec

5 minute output rate 4530000 bits/sec, 1694 packets/sec

15121726 packets input, 2118492864 bytes, 0 no buffer

Received 88626 broadcasts, 0 runts, 0 giants, 91 throttles

0 input errors, 0 CRC, 0 frame, 0 overrun, 0 ignored

0 watchdog, 0 multicast, 0 pause input

0 input packets with dribble condition detected

12417049 packets output, 305509368 bytes, 0 underruns

0 output errors, 0 collisions, 0 interface resets

0 babbles, 0 late collision, 0 deferred

0 lost carrier, 0 no carrier, 0 pause output

0 output buffer failures, 0 output buffers swapped out

Not sure if these are connected, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
