Input errors

Hi,

I am gettin input errors, CRC errors when I connect my switch to a router.

Attached is the "show int" of the switch

Could anyone advise?

I see that both the sides are hardcoded to Speed 100 and duplex full. What happens if you auto-configure the speed and duplex on both the sides. I would suggest to set both of them as auto-auto on both the sides and update us on that. Also try replacing the cable connecting the two device with a known good one.

I have tried changing the cables. The only difference I saw on the router that there is an encapsulation dot1q configured. Will these cause a problem?

The switchport connected to the router (with dot1q encapsulation ) should be configured as the trunk link. I see that your switchport is configured as an accessport.

Please paste the config from your router.
