Inteface up/own logs not getting generated in 4507 Siwtch

Hi,

On our cisco 4507 switch whenever a interface goes down the logs are not generated? Following commands are configured for logging :

logging buffered 16000 informational

logging console informational

logging monitor informational

logging facility local2

On a 45xx you need the command " looging event link-status" under the interface to generate the up/down logs

Along with the above command, you can also configure " logging event trunk-status" under your trunk interfaces

Hi,

You can add the following commands and check.

"logging buffered 16384 informational

logging history informational

logging event link-status default"
