PC-2 has to be in a vlan and as you said it is part vlan 1.  So, you still need to configure the default gateway for the PC on the sub-interface of the router.  vlan 1 is just like any other vlan.

Hi,

If Fa0/1 is configured with sub interface with dot1q id belongs to specific vlans PC in that vlan will be using default gateway of that interface of router subinterface, so with sub interface configured physical interface are not configured with ip address subinterface act as logical interface for that particular segment.

PC which does not belongs to any vlan that is native vlan will be part of vlan1 which should be allowed in trunk with sub interface configured for dot1q id 1 with native specified,so that user in native vlan can communicate with other vlans.
