InvalidTokenExpired - Help

I've just installed a 4507 and this message keeps appearing in the logs, I have not come accross this before, how do I resolve it?

003074: Apr 17 23:07:36: %C4K_RKNOVA-4-INVALIDTOKENEXPIRED: (Suppressed 201 times)Expired token 254 in the invalid token list (NumEntries: 6) of type IrmPortId other id == 4294967288

Hello Brendan,

Message is primarily cosmetic however there are several triggers for it.

What is your IOS version (show ver) and what is you HW installed (show mod). Do you have any wccp configured? WCCP might not be supported on your platform hence causing similar message?

Hi,

I have the same issue that appeared out of nowhere on one of the seven 4507 chassis. I am running IOS XE 3.3.0SG on this one since I hit a bug on IOS XE 3.3.1SG that caused all modules to be reset.

I think it is a cosmetic bug; I found the following bug id but I did not do OIR (online insertion removal of a linecard)...

I have the following modules in the chassis:

1. WS-X4748-UPOE+E

2. WS-X4748-UPOE+E

3. WS-X45-SUP7-E

4. WS-X45-SUP7-E

5. WS-X4712-SFP+E

Here's the same log message I see repeatedly (it is repeated exactly the same every 5 minutes

%C4K_RKNOVA-4-INVALIDTOKENEXPIRED: STANDBY:(Suppressed 403 times)Expired token 407 in the invalid token list (NumEntries: 9) of type IrmPortId other id == 4294967287

I might open a TAC case to have them investiguate but it seems for now that this is not impacting the switch.

Any suggestions?

Symptom:

Several %C4K_RKNOVA-4-INVALIDTOKENEXPIRED messages appear in the logs following linecard OIR.

Conditions:

A Sup7E supervisor is used.
OIR is performed on a linecard

Workaround:

No workaround, but there is no operational impact.
