Investigate Router Reboot!

Hi,

One of the rouers 2621XM in our remote offices has rebooted unexpectedly. How can i find out what caused this? Is there any dump file I could find out?

Hi,

Use the show version command to check for any cause for reboot.

If the router crashed there may be a traceback output.

You can also check for crash_info files in the flash.

You can also send the sh stacks / sh tech support to the TAC for further diagnosis

Hi,

I've checked this out and it appears there was a power outage as a couple of switches died too. Thanks anyway.
