IOS upgrade 3750 with console

Hi,

Can IOS of switch Ws-3750-24TS be upgraded using console-xomdem if normal TFTP fails?   Do we have any tftpdnld command available from rommon mode of switch?

Once we upgrade do we specifically need to put the boot system command even if only one IOS is exising in the flash?

Hello,

Yes, if the switch fails to boot using regular process, you can upload the new image using XMODEM.

There is no tftp option in the ROMMON prompt for the catalyst switches (2k/3k).
