IOS upgrade

Hello everyone,

I have 2 types of switches WS-C3524-XL-EN and WS-C3550-48-SMI. I am looking to update the IOS on the switches but I am a bit confused on which software to choose. Can someone lend a helping hand or point me in the right direction. The 3524 swithes have the following IOS on them...12.0( 5 ) XU or 12.0(5.4)WC(1)

or 12.0(5.2)XU or 12.0(5)WC10

The 3550 switches have 12.1(8)EA1c or

12.2(35)SE or 12.2(35)SE

Does anyone know the latest version I can use on these switches. Thank you for the help.

3524 == c3500xl-c3h2s-mz.120-5.WC17.bin

3550 depends if you have SMI or EMI switches.

SMI= c3550-ipbase-mz.122-40.SE.bin

EMI= c3550-ipservices-mz.122-40.SE.bin
