IOS VPN-server Vs MS IAS

Hello

I have an interesting dilemma with my VPN setup.

I would like my MS IAS server handle the authorization and also have a MS dhcp server to lease the addresses for the vpn users.

I have been able to give my vpn users adresses from my MS dhcp server as long as the uthorization is keept local on the router (with the "dhcp server" and dhcp giaddr" in Client configuration group).

The problem is that I can't find any cisco-av-pair that I can use to specify my dhcp server and giaddress in the MS IAS Remote Access Policy.

Is it even achievable? What do you all smart guys think?

Thanks for the word

Johan

Re: IOS VPN-server Vs MS IAS

IAS is only used to verify that the client is authorized to connect. The RRAS server usually looks after such things as network config for the client. The client receives its network config from the RRAS server at connection time. The RRAS server can issue IP addresses from a static pool, or it can lease them.
