ip conflict.

Hi Friends,

When I am going to configure one IP 10.105.x.x then IP conflict is appearing but it's not pinging from my system in the network.

Experts can any one help out me.

The IP conflict message should tell you thye MAC address of the conflicting system. Use that to trace it. If it turns out to be yourself, then you have a loop in yhour network.

Ya I have trace out with the MAC address and I had found where it is.

Another way to check this can be to take the host out from the network and try pinging from another machine in the same net then look in the arp cache. Even if it is firewalled and does not answer to ping it will leave a footprint in the arp cache.

When you have the mac address look in the switches mac address table to find out where it is physically.
