Hi Cisco Techs,
For all router on a stick scenarios, does ip nat outside command represent the external ip address that Isp gives the router?
What would occur when there is a ISP supplied router and then cisco router?
Does that mean double NAT?

Hi,
"ip nat outside"command usually apply to the interface facing outside (provider/Internet) which has a public IP.
When a provider supplies a router, they usually take care of NAT for you.

Is not exactly like this. ip nat outside have two objectives.
It can be called on the the global configuration mode prompt and require additional parameters.
ip nat outside source "static", "dynamic"
You can also call ip nat outside with no additional parameters at interface level when you have multiple interface going through outside interface.
Either way you can specify to which IP or range of IP the NAT will use.
