Hello
Older ios versions used to have "no ip route-cache" enable by default
This intiated process switching, which is 1 of 3 versions regards the switching modes.for router/switches
1)no ip route-cache - Processs switching
2) ip route-cache - Fast switching
3) ip route-cache cef - Cef switching
