Ip routing performance C3750E

We would like the performance of 3750E forwarding IP routed packets. We know that it supports CEF and its forwarding-rate (a switching data) is 64Mpps for 64-bytes packet. But could it forward 250Mbps using IP routing?. Is there any document to know the performance of the device when it is used as a router?

Thanks

Re: Ip routing performance C3750E

Assuming hardware L3 forwarding, believe the forwarding rate is the same for L2/L3.

"But could it forward 250Mbps using IP routing?. "

Should be able to, 250 Mbps is very, very light for this class of switch since it offers about line rate to all ports. (The non-E series should easily handle 250 Mbps too.)

3750-E Performance

• 160-Gbps switching fabric capacity

• Stack-forwarding rate of 95 Mpps for 64-byte packets

• Forwarding rate:

• 3750E-24TD-65.5 Mpps

• 3750E-24PD-65.5 Mpps

• 3750E-48TD-101.2 Mpps

• 3750E-48PD-101.2 Mpps

• 3750E-48PD-F-101.2 Mpps
